Figtree Kitchen started when a late-in-life culinary school graduate and self-taught baker came together in 2008 with a mutual admiration for well-prepared, delicious food. Together they grew from a small café to a local farmers’ market staple to what they are today.
Figtree Kitchen specializes in unique and delicious small-batch baked treats carefully crafted with the finest ingredients.
You’ll still find us at local farmers’ markets, at our Café at the Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth, NH, and at our Bakery at 3 Liberty Street in Newburyport, MA
While we don't have dedicated facility or equipment to produce 100% certified gluten-free products, we do make some very tasty products without wheat.
Rich and decadent Chocolate Toffee Cookies, Chewy Almond Cloud Cookies, Delectable Peanut Butter Nutella Cookies, and Rich Pecan Chocolate Financiers. Our signature Spinach Flat Wraps and both Sweet and Savory Tarts are just a few of the products we make without wheat.
